On June 23, 2011, the world celebrated the birth of a new communication method called LINE. 

LINE is not just a simple messaging app for sending messages. It is a communication application designed to enrich the communication between you and your family, friends, loved ones, and other important people in your life.

Imagine: a couple who used to quarrel all the time for neglecting to tell each other what time they’ll be
coming home is now putting each other at ease with a simple LINE sticker that says “I’m sorry”. Or a teenager is no longer being nagged by her parents for talking loudly on the phone long into the night, because she’s having a virtual slumber party with her friends in bed until lights out. 

These are just some of the ways in which LINE is serving users everyday, from morning until night amongst families, friends, and loved ones, 24 hours  a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. In other words, LINE has integrated to become a natural part of people’s lives and daily communication.

LINE just turned five, which in human years, makes us still a child. We are going to need vast amounts of experience to keep growing. That is why LINE is dedicated to spending every second of every day to gain more and more users across the globe in hopes of becoming a service that is ingrained in the lives of people in each country.

Furthermore, LINE’s service provision will not end at merely offering users an application. With continuous agility, we will create opportunities for users to be able to improve their relationships with other people, businesses, and services.
